Vistula Ledger minimises personal-data collection. Optional analytics loads only after a reader gives consent.
Controller and contact
The data controller is Vistula Ledger, an independent publication based in Krakow. Privacy and data-rights requests can be sent to editor@vistulaledger.pl.

Purposes and legal bases
Analytics is based on consent and can be refused without losing access to the publication. Security logs are processed for legitimate interests in reliable and secure delivery. Messages are processed to respond to the request or take steps requested by the sender.
Processors, retention, and transfers
Netlify provides hosting and Google provides consent-based analytics. These providers may process data outside the EEA under their published transfer safeguards. Analytics event data should be retained for no longer than 14 months. Messages are retained only as long as needed for the request and legal obligations.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing where applicable. You may withdraw analytics consent by clearing the site consent entry in browser storage. You may also complain to the Polish data-protection authority, UODO.
