Krakow will expand the paid-parking area from 10 August. The city says new parts of subzone C will cover areas around Rondo Matecznego, the Podgorski Cemetery and Blonia, while the neighbouring B30 subzone will also change its boundary.
What to know
The operational date is not the same as the permit date. Residents and eligible users will be able to buy permits for the new areas from 10 July, which gives drivers a month to check whether their regular parking place moves inside the paid zone.
This is a practical household update rather than a citywide transport reform. People who park near the affected streets should check the ZDMK map, confirm their subzone and avoid relying on habit after 10 August. The useful action now is verification, not waiting for the first ticket.
