Krakow’s renovation-housing draw: how the tie-break works

Krakow will hold the tie-break draw for the fourth edition of its “Flat for Renovation” programme at 10:00 on 1 July. The procedure applies only to applications that passed formal and substantive review, reached the minimum threshold of 21 points and are tied with other applications on the same score.

What to know

The renovation list can include no more than 180 applications. Higher-scoring groups keep priority, while the draw determines order within each tied group. The city says the process will use a dedicated application, record every stage and publish the source code so the mechanism can be reviewed.

Applicants should locate the individual case number shown on correspondence from the Housing Department because the public stream will display case numbers rather than names. The draw takes place at Rynek Podgorski 1 and will also be streamed online, giving affected applicants a direct way to follow the result.
