Rybitwy nursery reaches technical handover stage

Construction of the municipal nursery on Rybitwy Street has entered the technical handover phase. Krakow’s update says the contractor is finishing interior details and final work around the building, including the playground and external area.

The two-storey modular building is planned for 100 children and has 862 square metres of usable space. The city lists a green roof, photovoltaic panels and increased glazing on the southern elevation among the design features.

For families, the key point is capacity. Krakow has several nursery projects moving through handover or completion stages, including Wadowska, Jablonkowska and Drozyska. The Rybitwy project should therefore be read as one piece of a broader attempt to increase early-childcare access in growing districts.
