Krakow summer transit changes: what riders should check before July trips

Krakow has moved into the summer timetable period, and the practical message for residents is simple: check the line you actually use rather than assuming every route is reduced in the same way. The city says the holiday plan reflects lower school-year demand, ongoing works and the need to keep core links usable during the tourist season.

Krakow says main bus lines are set for 24-minute weekend frequencies instead of 30 minutes, route 50 keeps very frequent service in the first part of the holidays, route 20 runs more often between peaks in early July and route 11 continues on Saturdays. The airport bus line 300 is also described as running every 10 minutes between 5:00 and 23:00.

There are name changes too. Stops including Chełmońskiego Pętla, Os. Pod Fortem and Os. Kurdwanów are being renamed to fit a clearer citywide naming pattern.
